PARISH TRUSTEES
The Parish has two pastor-appointed trustees that act as counsel to the pastor in a variety of parish matters. the trustees are also members of the Parish Finance Committee.
FINANCE COMMITTEE
The Finance Committee.works closely with the pastor, who is accountable to the diocesan bishop for the administration and stewardship of the temporal goods of the parish. The pastor, according to Canon Law, has among his responsibilities, the responsibility for parish financial and temporal management. The Finance Committee is a consultative body that assists the pastor in meeting these obligations. While the Finance Committee does not have decision-making authority, consultation is at the heart of the decision-making process – sharing information, listening, contributing to the discussion, and promoting consensus. Included in the issues the Finance Committee is engaged on are: (i) advising on the design and execution of capital campaigns and capital expenditures; (ii) reviewing annual budgets, monitoring financial results throughout the year, and (iii) communicating the state of parish finances to the community.
